Educate Yourself.
Educating yourself on the topic of divorce and separation-related issues is the first step on the path to reducing discomfort and conflict. Gaining as much knowledge as you can on the topic will also enable you to find a quality professional who will put your interests first.
Contact One Mediation
The first step is the most important and difficult one. It is then in your best interest to discuss your options with a professional who will listen to your concerns and give you the information you need to move in the right direction. Contact us by phone at 812-269-8445 or by email at om.jaclyn@gmail.com.
Schedule a Free Consultation
When you determine that mediation is right for you, we offer a free consultation. During this consultation, you will have the opportunity to understand how the law may apply to your individual situation. As always, Jaclyn works to ensure you and your family are informed and supported in a way that lowers your stress, while saving you valuable time and money.
The separating couple attends this consultation together, so that the mediator may present the appropriate information in a neutral manner.
One Mediation Meeting: Parenting Agreement
Although a marriage can be terminated, divorcing spouses with children will always be parents. The best gift you can give your children is a healthy co-parenting relationship. Helping children cope with divorce is a top priority at One Mediation. Together with the mediator, parents are able to create the best plan to transition the children into separate households, while ensuring the children are receiving all the love and support they need to thrive during and after the divorce.
The Parenting Agreement assists parents in setting standards and boundaries for a healthy co-parenting relationship. This includes weekly, holiday, and vacation schedules.
